Top Nut-Free Snacks For School

Jul 3rd 2019

Nut allergies are a very serious thing. Fortunately, there are many snacks that are nut free and safe to bring to school. Here are some of the top nut free snacks for school you have to try!

At Pride Enjoy, we offer a range of nut-free, gluten-free vegan baked goods. We want everyone to be able to enjoy their favorite foods!

Why Are Nut-Free Snacks Important?

Nut-free snacks are important because you want to keep the school environment safe for all kids. If a child were to bring a snack containing nuts to school and were to leave crumbs or particles behind, it could trigger an allergic reaction for a kid who has a nut allergy.

What to Look For in School Snacks

When looking for school snacks for your child, it’s important to look at labels. On the labels, you will be able to see what the snack contains. Make sure to look for a section that states where the snack is processed and see if there's a “This product may contain…” section. If a snack is processed in a facility that also processes peanuts, it is not safe. If a snack says may contain nuts, it is not safe.
